About us

Writer’s Block Publishing is a non-traditional publishing company, that was created in 2009 to help young writers through the journey of publishing. As time progressed it became much more. Collaborating with non-profits, such as Salvation Army, Newark Public Library, Writer’s Block Café Art Organization and JOY'S Just Older Youth. We have began to focus more on literary development within the community. Creating a therapeutic environment for youth, that have struggled with hardships; we have created a program that will engage students in the art of creative writing; providing an outlet that will help heal the deepened wounds that are often hard to see.

 

While taking the necessary steps to complete a manuscript, that will help generate profit. We house frequent workshops, one on one sessions with weekly writing prompts to awaken the writer within.

 

Our services consist of copyrighting, editing both grammatically and structural. We also provide proofreading, as well as ghostwriting for those who suggest it.

 

Our objective is to prepare young authors for the publishing industry. We will help writers develop book proposals to present to publishers or agents.
